Details about 306
Our No. 306 is a fashionable full-brogue Oxford, crafted from finest calfskin. The exceptional character of this traditional men’s shoe comes from the combination of the blue leather upper and the red shoelaces. It is definitely an eye-catcher for any fashionable gentlemen.
High-quality men’s shoe with Scottish roots
Originally a Scottish or Irish creation, brogueing was designed to drain the water from the shoes of rural wearers. Today their name is still reminiscent of that footwear, though Brogue shoes are now an aesthetic rather than functional choice. For that reason, any “holes” are not punched all the way through the leather upper.
A multi-part vamp and the sewn-on wing cap and counter cap characterise our No. 306. The edges of the vamp are equipped with a highly decorative perforation, while the elegant five-hole lacing closes our blue full-brogue Oxford. Versatile, these men’s shoes tread a stylish line between sportive chic and understated elegance with their red shoelaces and blue leather upper.
Goodyear-welting guarantees a perfect fit
The blue vamp of our No. 306 is crafted from fully dyed calfskin, while inner linings, outsole, insole and the heel are made of vegetable-tanned calfskin, too. The heel is held in place by 15 metal pins. More than 200 different operations are used to craft one of our full-leather shoes. With parts sewn on individually and with the utmost care, our shoes guarantee stability, durability and breathability.
Blue men’s shoes are a versatile and fashionable alternative to traditional leather shoes in black or brown. Our No. 563 matches jeans and chinos perfectly for any casual occasion and looks great in the office, too, of course with the black shoelaces. The full-brogue Oxford in blue with red shoelaces would not be suitable for formal work places however.
Comprising several parts with perforations and gimping along the edges, together with a punched wing cap, this is a special shoe style. Exuding sportive chic and understated elegance, the blue full-brogue Oxford is a versatile work of art in leather and an expression of the fashion-conscious gentleman’s good taste.
The standard British last form. Subtly and elegantly narrows at the front of the shoe, without sharply rising from the ground. The average width at the ball of the foot provides a great fit for average feet.
This shoe’s upper boasts premium, medium-soft and fully-dyed calfskin. The technical term for this kind of leather is "French calf". This type of leather is known for its flexibility, fine texture, and soft grain.
The blue leather upper is made of fully dyed calfskin. A real eye-catcher is the antique finish on the toecap, where the leather boasts a special, dark high-gloss shine.
From a historical perspective, the full brogue Oxford is anything but extravagant. A fascinating leather upper, combined with decorative perforation, transforms No. 306 into a one-of-a-kind men’s shoe.
